Interview with Abby Pivaronas

If you’re watching Disney Channel’s JONAS LA show then you have seen Abby Pivaronas, who plays Vanessa this season. Abby says, “Vanessa is a movie-star who has recently become some what of a hippie and a "go green" advocate. She can be a little out there and definitely has her quirks. She and Joe bump into each other and they begin working on a movie and have a little spark which causes some Stella-Joe-Vanessa drama.”

Working with the Jonas Brothers has had Abby crying tears of laughter. “One scene, Joe had to open the door and say, Vanessa. The first time he opened the door he said, Abby! We started laughing and had the hardest time greeting each other with a straight face from then on!”

Abby caught the acting bug at age 16 when she was introduced to an acting coach. “I had my first session with him and walked out of the door feeling as though I was walking on Cloud 9. I remember saying to myself, this is what I am meant to do."

Abby who is from the Chicagoland area now lives in Los Angeles and loves it. “I went snorkeling in the ocean and rode a horse in the Hollywood Hills...all in the same day. Only in LA.”

When she’s not busy acting and going on auditions you can always find her doing something active. “I am a sports lover so I am usually playing beach volleyball, tennis, wakeboarding, basketball, football, softball. Anything athletic...I am there!”

Abby recently also appeared on the A&E detective drama, The Glades, and is auditioning for more roles to come.

Abby has great advice if you want to have a career in acting. “Jump right into acting classes, immerse yourself in as many learning environments as possible, have no fear, be strong and confident in yourself and your dream, and go for it!”

	Abby sure likes to play a lot of sports. I can hardly find myself committed enough to play one sport!
