Premiering tomorrow night on FOX, Glee is anticipated to be one of TV’s greatest musical comedies in America. Teen Scene has caught up with Cory Monteith, the actor who plays Finn Hudson in the upcoming hit series. The 27-year-old is a fresh face from Canada where he says that he was an avid snowboarder, “I just generally love being outside. Vancouver is so beautiful!
Cory has previously starred in TV shows such as ‘Mistresses’ and ‘Kyle XY’ as well as movies ‘Final Destination 3’ and ‘White Noise 2: The Light.’ When asked what his previous jobs were, Cory is not shy to share his many talents, “I’ve had so many... taxi driver, Wal-mart people greeter, automotive technician, web design, roofer, school bus driver, seriously, the list goes on and on...”. We asked the star what role he found to be the most enjoyable to which he, of course, replied with his new character in Glee, “Finn Hudson! He is such a great character, fun to play and entertaining to watch. Light-hearted, innocent and blissfully unaware. The writers really have done a great job.” Glee, premiering September 9th at 9/8c, is a combination of music and comedy. “I think with all the cop shows and hospital dramas out there, people are ready for something different... something... uplifting? That makes you feel good after you watch it! Rather than making you want to buy an alarm system, or get better health insurance.” If you're looking to follow in Cory's footsteps to becoming an actor, he suggests finding a teacher who you can trust and one that will tell you the truth. And, he says that you have to work really, really hard, and the rest will follow. Don't forget to tune in to check out Cory on Glee on FOX Wednesday, September 9th at 9/8c Quote this article on your site
