Things become worse for Betty when Matt decides to become inspired on a humanitarian 6-month long tour of Africa. Life for loved-up Wilhelmina takes a nose dive, when Connor, her jail-bird boyfriend, tells her that she should stop seeing him and move on. However, not wanting to give up without a fight, she proposes to him in prison. On her wedding day, she finds out that he has been transferred to an unknown location, leaving her heartbroken and lonely. Back at Mode, Daniel is finding life tough under Marc’s rule. Forgetting his lunches and taxi’s Daniel is left stranded and hungry. Thinking that this is Marc’s way of returning to Wilhelmina, he questions his motives, with unexpected, humorous results. It is ‘Hilda week’ in the Suarez house with Bobby treating Hilda to a week of pampering, yet not everything goes quite to plan. Betty’s week is brightened after starting an inspirational blog and gaining her independence by returning to her apartment in the city.
