Last season on Greek we left our beloved Zeta Beta Zeta girls wondering if they were the cause of the fire that burned down the Gamma Psi sorority house. Cappie parted ways with Evan after a trick that led to the expulsion of some Kappa Tau brothers. As for hook ups, Cappie got back with Casey, Dale and Rusty were neutral, Grant decided to tell his parents about his sexual orientation and Evan may have started something off with Rebecca.
After weeks of anticipation by fans, the ZBZ girls started off the new episode worried about the fire, Dale got two over-dazzled interns ready to hook onto his ‘genius,’ Rusty offered to take Wade’s place as pledge educator and was inducted by the noble Cappie’s broom, while Beaver was torn up about the guys expulsion and decided to hold a ‘Wake for Wade’ (because “‘Wake for Wade’ is easier to say and its an ‘allideration’.” close enough.) Rusty’s efforts to educate the pledges were a failure until he enlisted Dale to help mold his image as a tough guy to the pledges.(Cutting off a pledge’s toe and standing up to Cappie in the process helped too). Grant announced to Calvin that he didn’t come out to his parents during the break and he wasn’t ready to come out to their frat brothers, so Calvin ended their relationship. However Grant, in an effort to prove his love for Calvin decided to dance with Calvin at a fairytale-themed party to help raise money for the Gamma Psi’s, and was supported by his Omega Chi brothers. The ZBZ girls fears about the fire were confirmed when they learnt that the cause of the fire was a vanilla scented candle lit in the common room.Their problems were compounded when they also learnt that the Gamma Psi’s are certain that an intruder started the fire because they had made sure all candles were out before leaving their house. The ZBZ girls decided to bury all evidence of their presence at the Gamma Psi house in the woods. At the end of the episode Rusty wins the Engineering Foundation’s Grant leaving an expectant Dale dazed and disappointed. Highlights
