        Marcus Monroe: The Juggler

Have you ever tried to juggle? Try it. It's a lot harder than it looks. Imagine juggling, fire, knives or even a chainsaw. This may all sound like a challenge to you, but not to 18 year old juggler, Marcus Monroe. Marcus grew up and currently lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At the young age of nine he started practicing his juggling and hasn't stopped since. Marcus says that what makes him different from other jugglers is his style. Most jugglers have day jobs. Juggling right now is what he does day and night. He is always pushing the envelope and creating new moves to separate himself from other jugglers out there. Marcus has won many talents contests, performed in parades & at private parties and starred in a movie called "Wisconsin Death Trip" that was shown on HBO & BBC! He also opened up for "pop sensation" Vi3 & for B2K on MTV's Rock 'N Jock show and more!

Juggling is really like an outlet for him, because it is athletic and it is something he is good at. He says that, "I was having fun, and to me that's all that mattered. I didn't care if people thought I was crazy for wanting to go home and juggle instead of going to basketball practice. It's all about having a good time!" He practices everyday, but sometimes is takes 4-5 months to perfect a trick.

Marcus has much support from his family and friends. People who never thought he could do what he is doing right now, makes him work harder so he can prove them wrong. Much of his motivation he says comes from himself because he is a perfectionist. He won't let himself settle for anything less. Juggling has taught him that everything takes time, no matter what.

Marcus is currently working for the basketball team, The Milwaukee Bucks. There are other things in development too, so please check out www.marcusmonroe.com for more up to date information.

Marcus not only wants to juggle, but broaden his talents in the entertainment industry as he gets older. He says, "I will stay grounded and if there is anything I can do in return for my fans, I'm gonna try to do it." His ultimate dream is to meet Hilary Duff and have a Wendy's in his backyard. Doesn't sound that hard to accomplish if you have the dedication and passion like Marcus Monroe.
