For several years now, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have been seen as one of Hollywood's Super Couples. They have been married for nearly four and a half years and were the couple that everyone wanted to be. Jennifer had finished Friends, the show that launched her career, and was jumping head-first into movies. Brad had several movies lined up and could easily be called one of today's hottest actors. They had plans for a family and they seemed to have it all. But, things are not always what they seem. Recently, after months of speculation about the state of their marriage, the couple announced their decision to split. Although the reasons are not known, it does not stop people from speculating about it.

Personally, I was shocked when I found out about Brad and Jen's separation, they seemed like they were the perfect couple. Was everyone else shocked just like me or were they expecting this? To find out the general opinion I hit the streets and this is what I found out.

Laura Vanderlught, a 16-year old junior in high school, loves Brad Pitt. "I think he is really, really hot! I also think he is a really good actor! I haven't seen a lot of his movies, but the ones that I have seen I have liked. I haven't seen a lot of his movies because most of them aren't my type of movies." When asked about Jennifer Aniston, Laura had more to say. "She is gorgeous and I really like her hair. I love Friends, and I even have some of it on DVD. I watch the DVD's a lot and I also watch reruns. I liked her in Bruce Almighty and Along Came Polly, but Friends is still my favorite thing that she has done. I think that Jen and Brad were a really cute couple and the break up really surprised me because they seemed like they were perfect for each other. But, the break didn't really affect me that much."

Tyler Ritchie, a 15-year old sophomore, didn't even know about the break up when I talked to him. "I don't keep track of those things. I don't know them so why should I care about their personal lives? As long as it doesn't affect the movies, they can do whatever they want." Since Tyler made his feelings (or lack of feelings) about the split pretty clear, I figured I would probably get more out of them if I asked what he thought of them as actors. "Brad Pitt is awesome. I don't understand why everyone thinks he is so good looking. I mean, he isn't ugly, but he definitely isn't the hottest guy in the world. He is a really good actor, though. I really loved Fight Club, Ocean's Eleven, and Troy. Ocean's Eleven was incredible. I own it and I watch it all the time. I don't really like Jennifer Aniston that much. I didn't like Friends at all. I am strictly a Seinfeld kind of guy. She was okay in Bruce Almighty, but I don't think I have seen anything else that she was in. But aside from the fact that I haven't really seen anything she was in, I think she is really hot."

Corrine Mauger, a 41-year old bus driver, thinks that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were a great couple. "He is really handsome and he seems like a really nice guy. I like his movies and I think he is a great actor. I don't really have a favorite movie, because I like them all! Jennifer Aniston is really pretty and she appears to have really good morals. I think she is a great actress and she seems to be able to fit any role. My favorite movie that she has done is Bruce Almighty, because she did a great job in the movie and because Jim Carrey is hilarious." Well, since she has yet to mention Friends, I thought I would ask and this is what she had to say. "I don't like the show Friends at all! I think that the characters are way too immature. Some of the things that they do are things that teenagers or college students would do. Not adults." Wow, those are some strong feelings. But, what does she think of Brad and Jen as a couple? "I thought that they were the perfect couple. They are both so sweet and they seemed like they were so in love! But, they seemed to be a lot alike and that can often cause problems. But I never thought that they would break up!"

Steven Thomson, a 34-year old electrician, is in love with Jennifer Aniston. "I think she is the most beautiful woman in the world. She is incredible. She is also a really great actress. She was good in Bruce Almighty and I loved her in The Good Girl. I never really got into Friends, but what I have seen of that I really liked. I also am a big fan of Brad Pitt. My favorite movie of his was Meet Joe Black but I also liked Troy and Ocean's Eleven. I just now found out about the separation, because I don't really pay attention to the TV or to tabloids. It is really unbelievable that they are breaking up! They seemed like the ultimate super couple. But I guess it just goes to show you that even movie stars don't have it all."

Well, there you have it. Everyone seems to have a slightly different opinion about the break up. But, even if our thoughts about the break up may be different we can almost all agree that Brad and Jen are great actors.
