For the third year in a row there has been a new addition released to the Ratchet & Clank collection. The latest release is titled "Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal." Not only is the name comical, but the game is as well.
'Up Your Arsenal' doesn't focus on reinventing the wheel, instead the focus has been put on expanding and improving parts of the game. Although the game is single-player, this title comes with a new multiplayer objective-based mode which allows you to play with up to eight people online.
Although I am new to the 'Ratchet & Clank' series this game proves that it is exciting and addicting even for new players. I have always been a fan of combat games and 'Ratchet & Clank' is exactly that, but with animation. The neat thing is that in the game you can play with an assortment of wild weapons, as well as the ability to create black holes, turn enemies into sheep, have a group of robots attack the enemy, just to name a few.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with 'Up Your Arsenal.' Since I haven't played past Ratchet & Clank games I can't compare them, but I can say that this game has a lot of great things to offer and will have you playing for hours on end.
