| When I first found out that they were planning to make a Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, I was really excited. I really enjoyed the first one and I would play it all the time. I would even have friends over just so we could play it, maybe that sounds lame, but we had lots of fun. I liked everything about the first game and I would often spend hours at my computer every night playing it. Everyday I rushed through my chores and homework so that I could get on the computer, so you can only imagine my excitement when I found out about the new version.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is filled with incredible graphics and it surpasses the original in every way imaginable. With this new version, you can not only build your own rollercoasters, you can ride them too! You get to experience your rollercoaster from a whole new perspective. The first rollercoaster I created actually made me feel like I was on it and it just added a whole new dimension to the game.
One of my favorite things about the new version is that you can choose a theme for your park. There are 5 different themes: generic, spooky, adventure, western and sci-fi. For each theme there are different types of landscaping choices that fit with the theme. The food and drink stands also go with the theme, for example, if you have chosen the western theme, you could have a bison burger, cold nugget candy, steak, or root beer stand. Everything that you choose can go along with the theme! It really makes the building of the park so much more fun!
All in all, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 was a great game and I would definitely recommend it!
