Teen Scene recently talked with Britain’s hottest pop rock group, McFly! With two platinum selling albums in the UK, they are about to take the U.S. by storm. All of the members, Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd are featured in the new Lindsey Lohan movie, “Just My Luck.” With a new movie and a new album hitting stores May 9th, they are about to get just a little busier.

Teen Scene: How were you guys incorporated into the film “Just My Luck”?
McFly: “We play ourselves in the movie. Basically Lindsey Lohan plays the luckiest girl in the world while Chris Pine plays the unluckiest guy and he is our manager. They kiss and swap luck. He gets lucky and we get a record deal. We all have speaking parts in the movie.”

Teen Scene: How was Mcfly picked for the film?
McFly: “They wanted and needed a real English band.”

Teen Scene: How did you guys come up with “Mcfly”?
McFly: “We’re big fans of Back to the Future.” (Referring to Michael J. Fox’s character, Marty Mcfly).

Teen Scene: Do you have any lucky charms?
McFly: “Dougie is our lucky charm!”

Teen Scene: Any crazy fan stories?
McFly: “When they found out where we lived, they tried to climb in our windows!”

Teen Scene: What’s your favorite American food?
McFly: “We love Johnny Rockets! They have huge portions in America!”

Teen Scene: Who are some of your musical influences?
McFly: “Beatles, Beach Boys, Green Day and The Who.”

Teen Scene: Will you guys be touring the U.S soon?
McFly: “Hopefully soon! We’d love too!”

Teen Scene: What type of advice do you have for teens?
McFly: “Don’t worry and don’t stress out. You’re not a teenager for a long time!”
