Lost & Found: Music
New Kids on the Block, comprised of Boston-area singer Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Jon Knight, Danny Wood and Joey McIntyre, debuted in 1986. But they didn't become international sensations until 1988, when their album Hangin' Tough was released.

Their next release, Step by Step, was released in 1990 and sold three million copies, two million less than Hangin' Tough, but still very impressive!

After the release of Step by Step, NKOTB, as they were sometimes known, reached the peak of their career and there was nowhere to go but down. And down they went. In 1994 the band broke up and each of the guys went their separate ways. What have they been doing for the past 10 years? Here is a rundown:

Joey McIntyre - Took up acting after NKOTB broke up and was most recently seen on the drama Boston Public. While in Los Angeles filming Boston Public Joey was house hunting and fell in love with his agent, Barrett Williams. They got married August 9, 2003.

Joey has also released many solo CDs, including Stay The Same (1999), Meet Joe Mac (2001), One Too Many (2002) and Joey McIntyre 8:09 (2004).

Donnie Wahlberg - Known at the "wild" one back in the heyday of New Kids on the Block, Donny, has settled down with his wife, Key Fey and their two children. Like Joey, Donnie also took up acting. Many people do not realize that Donnie was in The Sixth Sense, but in fact he played the Vincent Gray, the mentally disturbed patient who shoots Bruce Willis's character. Donnie lost 43 pounds to play part. Donnie also starred in the short lived in NBC drama Boomtown. While it was a critical success, it did not catch on with viewers and was cancelled after one season. He has also acted in Band of Brothers and Dreamcatcher.

Jordan Knight - The younger brother of fellow NKOTB Jon Knight, Jordan has continued to sing, releasing several albums, including Jordan Knight performs the New Kids on the Block on the Empire Music Label. In September he kicked off a tour in San Francisco and was in the third season of VH1's The Surreal Life. He has one son, who was born in 1999.

Jon Knight - After suffering a nervous breakdown in 1993, Jon decided to leave The New Kids on the Block. Diagnosed as suffering from panic and anxiety disorders Jon decided to retreat to Massachusetts and raise horses on his farm. He has become a real estate developer in Massachusetts.

Danny Wood - Danny got married in 1997 and has four children, Daniel, Anthony, Vega and Chance. He has starred in two films, 2001's Thank You, Good Night and 2002's Tequila Express.
