Upcoming Movies/TV: Boo Boo Stewart

Who knew martial arts would lead Boo Boo Stewart to a career in the movie and music industry? The 2002 and 2003 Martial Arts world champion got his start as a stunt double and actor in the 2004 film Skeleton Man.

"My dad and my older sister Maegan were doing a movie called Skeleton Man," said Stewart. "They needed a Native American kid so the hired me that was 3 years ago. I first did a lot of commercials and print work."

Three years later, Stewart's schedule changed since then. He recently worked as a stunt double in the film adaption of Beowulf, which stars Anthony Hopkins and Angelina Jolie. Stewart said that working on Beowulf was fun, adding that the people were nice and "the food was amazing - L.O.L."

"I really like doing stunts and wire work," he said. "It was fun."

In addition to the productions he is a part of, he joined in the "T-Squad", a Disney-produced hip-hop group that just released a CD this year.

"I was asked to audition for a group," he said about the experience. "I love touring: the travel, the hotels, and the shows."

As of right now, Stewart started production of American Cowslip. He said, "I have been shooting with Rip Torn. He is funny."

After American Cowslip, he said that he will "head to New Mexico to start shooting a thriller called Dark Games. Its going to be really good!"

His advice for his fans is this: "Never quit. And practice practice practice."
