21-year old Canadian star Suzie Pollard stars in the popular show, Beyond the Break. On an all-girls surfing team, Suzie plays the lead of Dawn. "She is the strongest surfer in the Wavesync house and she knows it. Her confident attitude can get her into trouble with her roommates." Suzie learned to surf before they started filming in Hawaii, but she had a rude awakening. "We had the most intense training session with the top water guys in Hawaii. It was crazy!" With all the surfing Suzie has to do you'd think she wouldn't be surfing on her downtime, but that isn't the case. "Surfing is the hardest thing I have ever tried so I need a lot more practice to feel confident!"

Suzie just finished filming a thriller called The Wall in Canada which will come out late next year. But, when Suzie does have a little downtime, you can find her at the movies, dinner with friends, and dancing.

Advice to all teens out there who want to get into acting, Suzie says, "Go for it! If you're passionate about something, believe in yourself and go after your dream. Dreams do come true!"
