It’s been three long years that fans have been anticipating the sequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean, but now it’s back and bigger than ever. Opening weekend broke records with a whopping $132 million at the box office.

With the longest red carpet in history, Teen Scene was at Disneyland to witness the world premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. Fans lined up for hours to get a glimpse of Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. All three of them took the time to sign autographs and takes pictures with as many fans as they could.

Teen Scene also got an exclusive look at the new Pirates ride that inspired the film. Now, Johnny Depp’s character Jack Sparrow is incorporated into the ride. Without giving away too much, he pops up three different times!

The sequel revolves around a debt that Captain Jack Sparrow owes to his nemesis’, Davy Jones (Bill Nighy). To escape his fate Captain Jack Sparrow must find a key in order to open up a buried chest containing Davy Jones heart. The visual effects and action sequences are visually stunning. Johnny Depp, who plays one of the best characters of all time, Captain Jack Sparrow, commands the screen every time he appears. Kevin R. McNally who plays a drunken old soul tells Teen Scene, “Johnny is a great joy to work with. An absolute professional!”

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is one for all ages. With the third film still in production, fans will have to wait a little bit longer to find out what happens to their favorite characters. But until then, jump ship on one of the biggest blockbusters of all time!
