Movie Box - DeAnna Pappas Interview

This season of The Bachelor had the most dramatic rose ceremony ever. As the viewers watched Brad Womack send Jenni home, they thought DeAnna was the one he would propose too. In a dramatic turn of events, he also sent DeAnna home.

Hailing from Newnan, Georgia, DeAnna Pappas went on The Bachelor looking for what everyone wants....love. Watching DeAnna and Brad on screen, there was undeniable chemistry. The ending shocked not only the viewers, but DeAnna herself. She talks to Teen Scene exclusively about her experience.

DeAnna didn't get the answers from Brad that she hoped for during the "After the Final Rose," but she tells Teen Scene, "I'm moving on with my life. One can only hold onto something for so long." Would she do this again to find love? "I would definitely. I totally believe in the show. I truly believe that you can find someone special, fall in love, and have a successful relationship."

Since the show has aired, DeAnna has had a growing fan base and many of them are hoping she'll be the next Bachelorette. "My fans are amazing and have offered me so many kinds of wisdom and support! I want them to know that I appreciate it more than they could ever imagine. I'm very grateful..words can't describe it!"

For teens out there who are going through a break up, DeAnna advises, "It's not the end of the world because a guy doesn't choose them. Life, love and happiness is a beautiful thing. Embrace it. It takes too much energy being upset over someone who doesn't see the wonderful person you are. Everything happens for a reason and there will be a much better person that will come along!"

With 2008 around the corner, DeAnna is looking forward to a great year filled with lots of love, happiness and new experiences. Brad may have not fallen in love with her, but viewers fell in love with DeAnna's warm personality and friendly smile. We at Teen Scene wish DeAnna the best of luck in her search for love.
