Teen Scene was on hand for the premiere of Disney's latest film, "Chicken Little." The film is based on the classic fable, but with a new twist. Chicken Little mistakes a falling acorn for a piece of the sky which causes panic in the town. When he's close to restoring his reputation again, a real piece of sky falls and lands on his head! Now, Chicken Little and his friends must try to save the world without spreading new panic.
Zach Braff, best known as "JD" on the TV show "Scrubs," uses his voice to bring the character of Chicken Little to life. Zach told Teen Scene, "Anyone growing up can relate to being humiliated and embarrassed. Chicken Little just wants to be respected and redeem himself." This marks Braff's first animated film. He's returned to work on "Scrubs" which is rumored to be back on air in January.
"Chicken Little" is Disney's first 3D film. Garry Marshall, the voice of Buck Cluck exclaims, "I've never seen such great animation!" Teen Scene also talked with Chicken Little's composer John Debney, "Animation is a long process. It took 4 years with doing a little bit at a time." John is an Oscar nominated composer. His latest work can be seen in the upcoming film "Zathura."
Stars including Terri Hatcher ("Desperate Housewives") and Melinda Clarke ("The O.C.") brought their children to the premiere. Melinda told Teen Scene, "There just aren't enough films for kids out there." Don't chicken out on seeing "Chicken Little."
