What to Wear? - Sienna Miller Style Profile

When one thinks of a style icon, names such as Marilyn Monroe, Edie Sedgwick or Jackie Kennedy come to mind. Each of these ladies developed signature styles over their years in the spotlight, and continue to inspire many fashion designers today. Most style icons take years to develop their own look, which eventually allows them to become noticed by the fashion industry. Many of these icons have passed on, but their style continues to inspire and influence. However, an up and coming Hollywood actress by the name of Sienna Miller, has already been labeled a style icon by major fashion magazines, and she is just 23.

Miller, well-known as Jude Law's stylish and young fiancé, has won both designers and fashion lovers around the world with her casual chic and bohemian style. In fact, many consider Miller to be the girl who started the "Boho" trend that has taken the fashion industry by storm.

According to a March 2005 article in Vogue, written by Hamish Bowles, Miller has "this intuitive sense of style that has captured a moment and excited the fashion world."

The petite model-turned-actress wore unique pieces such as vintage cowboy boots, faux-fur gilets, and cut-off denim minis many seasons ago, that are just now becoming all the rage amongst Hollywood starlets. Everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Jessica Simpson to Mary-Kate Olsen has been spotted wearing cowboy boots on top of jeans or with mini skirts recently, which was a signature look for Miller back in 2003.

Trend-setter Miller often completes her relaxed, hippy look with tousled and messy hair, long and ethnic necklaces, over-sized sunglasses, and very little make-up.

Designers and fashion news outlets still continue to praise the born in Manhattan, but raised in London 23 year old for her amazing sense of style.

She is indeed a style icon.
