Oscar winner, Charlize Theron, is best known for her incredible acting skills, but the starlet should also be known for her elegant style sense. At just 30 years old, Charlize has the grace of a classic Hollywood star of the golden era. Born in South Africa, Theron made her way to the Big Apple when she was 18 to pursue modeling. Soon after, she found herself on a flight to L.A. and in the twelve years since she first stepped onto American soil, Charlize has become part of Hollywood’s elite.
At the 2005 Emmy’s the beauty switched things up and rather than her usual classic look, she chose a short, sexy black and beaded Chanel dress. Her look was topped with a long necklace and intricate earrings. The look proved that while she can easily pull off a classic look with her natural beauty, she can also be just as sexy and playful as any of Hollywood’s pop tarts of today.
More recently at the Oscar’s, Charlize was called a “Godsend” by the E! Fashion Police. The actress wore a stunning Christian Dior ruffled pale gray gown. She finished the look off with an upswept hairdo and like many others this year she avoided overdoing the look by leaving her neck bare. This was one of the most beautiful of Theron’s styles in recent memory and again made clear that she is a style icon not to be reckoned with.
Away from the spotlight and the glitz and glamour of the red carpet, Charlize continues to be stylish. It doesn’t matter whether she is in the most glamorous designer gown or just out for a stroll in a pair of distressed jeans and a t-shirt, Charlize Theron’s natural beauty always shines.
Charlize will be starring in the upcoming film “North Country” along with Sissy Spacek and Woody Harrelson and can be seen this December in the TV series-turned-feature film, “Aeon Flux.” She also just received her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. If one thing is for sure in Hollywood it is that Charlize Theron will be around for many, many years to come.
