1. David and Victoria Beckham

David and Victoria Adams (also known as Posh Spice from The Spice Girls) started dating in 1997 after she had attended a Manchester United match. Their quick romance sparked a lot of media attention, both coming from their own famous worlds, soccer and music. A year later in January of 1998, David proposed to Victoria in a restaurant in Chestnut, England. A year later, the Beckham's purchased their first house, unofficially nick-named “Beckingham Palace” in Hertfordshire in London, it is estimated to be worth about $12 million USD. In 2007 when David joined the L.A. Galaxy MLS team, the family purchased an Italian Villa in Beverley Hills, California. The Beckham’s live there with their three sons, Brooklyn (10), Romeo (7) and Cruz (4).  2. Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Laine
Kobe and Vanessa met at a music video shoot where Vanessa was a background dancer. Married on April 18th 2001 in Dana Point, California, Kobe asked Vanessa to marry him while she was still in High School. A first sign of things to come in the future was the fact that none of Kobe’s family or teammates attended the wedding, they where not supportive of the union between the two, whom has two daughters, Natalia (6) and Gianna (3).
Probably allowing the media to have a frenzy was when Kobe admitted to being unfaithful and shortly after his confession, accused of sexual assault. With all the problems their marriage suffered, the couple tried to remain strong, sporting matching leather bracelets and the reported $4 million eight-carat purple diamond ring Kobe bought Vanessa.
The couple is reportedly still together.
 3. Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren
In 2001, Tiger and Elin met at the British Open at Royal Lytham in England. Elin was employed by Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik as an au pair (a young foreigner who lives with a family in return for doing light housework). Jesper reportedly introduced Tiger to Elin. In 2003, Tiger proposed to Elin in the South African Shamwari Game Reserve while on a safari vacation. A year later the couple wed on the 19th hole of the Sandy Lane Golf Resort in Barbados located on the west coast of the Caribbean locale.
Like many high profile marriages, gossip and rumors begin. Shortly after their relationship went public, apparent nude photographs of Elin went public. Elin did do bikini photo shoots as a model in Sweden but never posted nude. It turned out that the photos where of Playboy magazine model Kim Hiott. In 2006, Elin filed a libel lawsuit against The Dubliner who claimed the photos were her, Elin won the lawsuit.
Tiger and Elin own a 155-foot yacht worth $22 million named “Privacy”, the same yacht Tiger hired for their honeymoon. The couple has two children together, Sam (2) and Charlie (under a year).
 4. Eva Longoria and Tony Parker
In 2006, Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker became engaged. They where officially married a year later in Paris, where French law requires that couples take their vows at city hall, however, the two celebrated their wedding in a lavish ceremony before their vows at city hall.
Their marriage suffered its first ordeal when a tabloid magazine stated that Parker had been having an affair with model Alexandra Paressant. The couple denied all allegations and filed a $20 million lawsuit against the website x17online.com. “All high profile couples fall victim to these sorts of things in the course of their relationships. It appears that this is not the first time this woman has used an athlete to gain public notoriety," Parker stated.
Eva Longoria is currently in her 6th season of Desperate Housewives and plans to move to France with her husband when the series ends.
