So you think you know Shane Sparks? Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Shane Sparks has been dancing since he can remember. He’s already choreographed the hottest names in music such as Lindsay Lohan, Omarion and recently Corbin Bleu’s (High School Musical) new video. Currently he is one of the judges/choreographers on the hit Fox TV show, “So You Think You Can Dance”. What makes the show so popular? Shane explains, “Because dance is sexy and everyone loves it. People who can’t do it love to watch it and it makes you feel good to see it.”

Known for being a hip-hop choreographer, people would be surprised that Shane is also good at Jazz and Lyrical. “I never took classes, but I understand it and have so much respect for it.” Shane also has an eye for fashion and currently is gearing his clothing line to both female and male dancers. “I want to give the dance world their own signature gear so when they go out, they can rip the stage!” But what can Shane not leave home without? His hat!

For all of you who have dreams and aspirations to be a dancer, Shane says “Teens should study more than one style, believe in themselves and train hard. The more you practice, the better you’ll be. You can be as good as you want if you work hard, be serious about it and train.”

Shane will be busy this summer working on a new dance movie with Marques Houston and Omarion called “Backdown”. It’s the female version of the hit film “You Got Served”!
