miley-s-bcbg-clothing-line-with-max-azria-miley-cyrus-7341629-265-399.jpgIt’d be challenging these days to find someone who doesn’t know the name Miley Cyrus? Being only 18 years old, she holds the titles of teenage pop-sensation, singer, actress, author, musician, and fashion designer. This has all contributed to her being a common household name.

picresized_1293228387_51vlgux7_fl__ss500_.jpgTaylor Swift had a lot to live up to with the release of her third album, Speak Now. With both her selt titled debut album and Fearless album stirring up so much success, it left little room for Swift to grow. But she’s done it again! Let It Rock Concert Review PDF Print E-mail
Written by Chris Heinz
Tuesday, 21 April 2009
kevinrudolf.jpgThe Let It Rock Tour may be lacking a blockbuster name on the roster but attendees definitely got their money’s worth when the show rolled through Chicago at the House of Blues on April 8th. For less than $20, the crowd was treated to music from 6 artists that lasted over 4 hours long in a great intimate environment. Each artist played a showcase of songs lasting around 30 minutes. Surprisingly, headliner Kevin Rudolf didn’t perform any longer than the other acts, although that is understandable considering he has only released one studio album. There was something to be said about the crowd at House of Blues that night. The energy throughout the crowd was infectious from the start and it didn’t seem to die down as the night progressed. It was almost as if everyone was their just to listen to the music and not see one particular performer. Everyone got equal applauds as well.

The Fame Ball Concert Review PDF Print E-mail
Written by Chad Kennedy
Wednesday, 01 April 2009
ladygaga.jpgThe Fame Ball tour hit Chicago not once but twice on Tuesday. The early show began with opening act Cinema Bizarre which can be summed up in one word: bizarre. Though the group’s music is decent, the overwhelming aspect of the group is their look which is slightly disturbing. Lady Gaga is known for her bizarre antics, but Cinema Bizarre certainly takes the cake for the ‘most bizarre’ title. Next to rock the stage was Chester French, which is a band that consists of two members, Maxwell Drummey and D.A. Wallach. Their music is mostly indie pop/rock clearly influenced by the 1960’s and 70’s, but then they also have a catchy techno/dance element.
