This season is all about COLOR! Of course it has been about color forever but the hottest colors of this winter season that will cross over into this year, 2009, is what I like to refer to as ‘royalty’ colors. Rich colors that really make a person take notice when you walk into a room.
Some of the colors are rich purples, royal blues, silver, but there are so many more that the possibilities are endless. The colors named previously look well by themselves but when paired with red, gold, or pink it is just FABULOUS!

Pink  top: Any style of  a top in this particular color matches well with cobalt jeans. The brightness of the jeans allows for the pink top to tone it down. It gives the outfit balance while not taking away from the fabulousness.

Cobalt blue skinny jeans: The pants bring out the style that has been in stores EVERYWHERE, especially Wet Seal, and DEBS. They come in numerous colors and best of all they aren’t expensive and only runs you about 30 bucks at the most. The best colors to purchase in these jeans are red, blue, hot pink, and gray, but of course you may want to add black and white.

Silver Heels: This is the ultimate ‘I am royalty’ item. Every female, in my opinion, should have a pair of silver or gold heels. Purple Make-up: Sometimes wearing numerous different colors seems to make a person appear clownish. However, when paired correctly with the appropriate items it brings out the eyes and attention to the face. Worn by these celebrities: Beyonce’, Kate Hudson, and on the runway for  fashion shows such as  the Diana Von Fursternberg Spring Show in 2008, as well as Betsey Johnson’s Show in 2008 where she added a hint of glitter to her eyeliner.

Red Lips: A red stained lip brings out the winter look even better with a burst of color and gives the just came in the building from the winter cold. It especially goes well with the colorful makeup.

White: White is the wildcard all year long. Dump the “never wear white after Labor Day” notion. It is so old school, if you still can’t let it go however, try blending it in with your makeup. White eyeliner is the ‘it’ thing right now and is seen all over the runways these days. For example (designer runway show) had their models in white eyeliner in their (name of fashion show).
