uglybetty.jpgGetting Ugly Betty casts style is cool, but you have to remember that bringing your own style into the clothing that you are rocking is key. That is what makes a style standout, not the designer.  Anyone can rock these looks and with these prices who wouldn’t, but remember personality is key!

Betty Suarez: When watching Ugly Betty we most often look at Betty’s style as ‘what in the world does she have on’ and her style have garnered much publicity in the Mode offices. Her style is comfortable but she mixes pieces that would not normally work together but on her they look absolutely FABULOUS! But when looking at Betty one cannot overlook those red spectacles, she pulls them off effortlessly. She sports the very chunky heels more often than a stiletto but whichever she chooses they match her style and are comfortable, which cannot be said about all shoes. Betty accessorizes her outfits with an initial necklace and butterfly pins and earrings and a bird necklace as well.

Red Glasses: Butterfly shaped sunglasses; $8:00; www.wetseal.com
Chunky/Wedge Heels: Belted Canvas Wedges; $26.99; www.charlotterusse.com
Nature Jewelry: Antique Leaf Earrings; $4.00; www.charlotterusse.com

Amanda:  Unlike Betty, Amanda who is the receptionist at Mode office is a label maniac. From BCBG to Marc Jacobs, Amanda makes sure she is the center of attention while getting into everyone’s business and rocking the tallest stilettos and tightest shirts. Her style is more fashionable and Amanda makes sure she is up on the latest trends. She rocks a rugby striped slider belt on a recent episode which is absolutely to die for! Her style is very girly and she rocks the ruffles, which is absolutely in style and has no death sentence as of yet. When it comes to handbags, Amanda’s ranges from medium size to clutches and are usually in earth tone colors.

Sporty belt: Valinda Wide Elastic Belt; $8.80; www.forever21.com
Ruffle shirt: Ruffle Front Bustier; $15.50; www.wetseal.com
Clutch: Alligator Print Clutch; $16.00; www.claires.com

Daniel: The Editor-in-Chief of a high profile magazine such as Mode has to have fashion sense, and Daniel Mead does not disappoint. He wears the best that money can buy, from Dolce and Gabbana to Burberry his style does not disappoint. He mixes ties with jeans and a blazer and still manages to look corporate. His sneaker game is not lacking either; he has low-top, dress shoes and believe it or not he actually wears boots, in nude colors of course!

Tie: Calvin Klein Multistripe Silk Ties ; $49.50 ; www.macys.com
Jeans:  Calvin Klein Jeans Lightweight Straight Leg Jeans; $59.50; www.macys.com
Blazer: Sean John Scrum Hook-Up Velour Jacket; $178.00; www.macys.com
