With the summer fast approaching, clothes will not be the only things
changing. With the start of a new season also comes new haircuts.
Though, in today's economy, it is not surprising that most people
choose to do DIYs as compared to going out. Here are a few tips to get
you through a home hair dye situation.
1) Choose the correct color -Make sure the color you choose matches with your skin tone and eye color. Though, browns, especially dark brown, is usually suitable for everyone. 2) Have clean hair -Make sure you wash your hair the day before you start dying your hair. It will allow the dye to go in easier without the all the tangles or tresses. If you have curly or moderately wavy hair, it may be to your advantage to straighten it. 3) Read the directions -Not all products have the same directions/instructions. Hair dying is a conscientious task that needs much preparation and timing beforehand. Make sure you know what you're doing by following the guide. 4) Concentrate the dye on the roots -Your hair is naturally lighter on the ends. By applying the dye on the roots first, it will easily absorb. Afterwards, apply a few trickles of water or so on the roots of your hair and comb through. This will dilute the dye and thus, it will have a lighter effect on the ends. 5) Use heat to your advantage -During the waiting time after you have applied the dye, use a towel and wrap it around your head. Or, you can also get one of those produce/plastic bags (without the handles) and put it over your head and just tie a knot at the end. Doing this will trap the heat circulating in the bag and will allow the dye to seep in faster. 6) Use conditioner after process -After washing your hair until the water runs clear, use a liberal amount of conditioner. Applying any type of chemical to your hair will no doubt have an effect to an extent. As long as you apply conditioner and treat your hair without any more products, you should be fine.
With these tips, now we will move on to three suggested dye brands of the general consensus. 1) Garnier Nutrisse Cream -Although it does not use 100% natural products, it is considerably better than the others. Also, with its matching shampoo and conditioners, it will align in with the hair dye since they are of the same brand name. It also has 31 colors to choose from. 2) L'Oreal Color Pulse -L'Oreal is a trusted brand that many women seem to agree with. Instead of the usual "boring" colors, L'Oreal has some bold and creative colors, such as purple, etc. 3) L'Oreal Féria -This is a kit what will provide you with everything you need. It also promotes shinier and shimmering hair. It is great for highlights and makes the process an easy one. With such tips and products in mind, be unconventional and bold this summer season by trying the unexpected. Quote this article on your site
