1) Choose the correct color

-Make sure the color you choose matches with your skin tone and eye color. Though, browns, especially dark brown, is usually  suitable for everyone.

2) Have clean hair

-Make sure you wash your hair the day before you start dying your hair. It will allow the dye to go in easier without the all the tangles or tresses. If you have curly or moderately wavy hair, it may be to your advantage to straighten it.

3)  Read the directions

-Not all products have the same directions/instructions. Hair dying is a conscientious task that needs much preparation and timing beforehand. Make sure you know what you're doing by following the guide.

4)  Concentrate the dye on the roots
