No one wants to be caught out there during holiday season, in stores trying to find the perfect outfit for that holiday party. Well, in this case - shoes. It turns out you have the dress, coat and even how you plan to wear your hair, the only thing you need is the perfect pair of shoes. I mean admit it, isn’t the weather too cool, windy, or there may even be snow on the ground in some parts of the world to wear your favorite stilettos?
Well, here is where I come in, to suggest the perfect shoes for just the right weather in whatever city, state, or even country you just so happen to be in. If it happens to be sunny outside while you are getting dressed, keep in mind that weather drops in most parts of the U.S. drastically at night. So instead of trying to find open toe stilettos opt for a peep-toe bootie. Also, if you like color and want your shoes to stand out from the rest get them early by ordering online. I suggest going on www.gojane.com, they have great selections of heels in all different styles and they make a statement when trying to get that secret someone’s attention. When looking for holiday heels be sure that they aren’t too high, especially when going to dinner at your significant other’s parents house, not a good idea. Don’t be so showoff-ish at dinner either, just keep it simple. No red, I realize it is the holiday but red is so cheesy it makes you look like a Mrs. Santa Clause, a little too into the holiday spirit, you know? A heel I would go with are black or brown and maybe a light color that is not too out there. I really like the boots in the Victoria Secret Fashion show and true they are not holiday dinner appropriate but who’s to say that they won’t come in handy for New Year’s? They are really over the knee and are just SEXY, when really trying to show off for the haters. All in all when looking for the perfect holiday shoe or any shoe for that matter the important thing is comfort. It all relies on your comfort in the shoe and how you carry yourself. No one wants or will feel sexy in a shoe if they cannot walk in them. I know for myself I had on some sexy Dereon boots and they were fine in the beginning but as the night wore on you could tell I was uncomfortable. I mean I actually had people coming up to me and asking whether I was okay, I guess I was looking that uncomfortable. Now I know for next time, don’t wear them for a long period of time, it’s not a good look. Whatever you do plan on wearing for the holidays, remember comfort, class, and being yourself is what matters most.
